Information we use

We collect the contact and shipping details you provide, your designs and uploaded artwork, order and payment status, and account information when you register. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, not readable passwords. Please do not upload sensitive information you do not want included in your order.

Why we use it

We use this information to save your cart, verify your account, fulfill and support orders, send transactional messages, prevent abuse and maintain business records. We do not sell your personal information or use your artwork in advertising without permission.

Service providers

Stripe processes payment details on its checkout. We do not store your full card number or security code. Riggs Hosting operates our Plesk website, private order storage and transactional mailbox. Customer messages to orders@veterantags.com are also forwarded to our Microsoft-hosted support inbox. USPS or the carrier used for your shipment receives the delivery information needed to deliver it. Authorized store staff can access orders and artwork for production and support. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect against fraud.

AI and artwork

Some decorative brand imagery was created with AI; it is not a photograph of our team or a customer testimonial. The tag editor’s background removal, resizing and monochrome preview run in your browser. The store does not send customer designs or account details to a generative-AI service for these features. Uploaded designs are stored privately when you save a cart or order.

Messages and store reports

Contact-form details are used to answer your inquiry, not to enroll you in marketing. Our private store reports summarize orders, sales and customer accounts. Server security logs may record technical request information; no advertising pixels or session-replay tools are installed. See our cookie policy and storage choices.

Cookies and local storage

Essential cookies keep your cart and sign-in working. Your browser also stores checkout-recovery information. Saved carts expire after 30 days without a save; account sessions normally last up to 30 days. We do not install advertising trackers. Stripe controls cookies on its own checkout; see Stripe’s privacy policy.

Retention and your choices

Order records and artwork are retained for fulfillment, customer service and required business records. You can request access, correction or deletion by email. We verify your identity before acting; records required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention or unresolved-order purposes may need to be retained. Backup copies may remain until replaced through normal backup operations. Avoid sending passwords or card numbers by email.

Security and changes

We use access controls and encrypted connections, but no online system is risk-free. This store is intended for purchases by adults, not for children to create accounts. Contact us if a child has submitted personal information. We will update this page when our practices change.
